I have the following piece of code. Currently the command line arguments are passed as shown below using the "= "sign. I capture the name of the argument, for example vmod and it's corresponding user parameter which is jcdint-z30.cmd.

I hope this is the right thread - not sure if it belongs in the Linux forum. Anyway, I'm having an issue with ddd and gdb. When using ddd to run gdb, there are extra parameters being appended, and my program is picking them up.
I'm running on Ubuntu 11.04...

Hi,
I have 1 program that writes in to the STDIN of another program as shown below. Both programs contain 4 or 5 lines & would terminate in under a second.
$ driver.exe | program.exe

dictool accepts arguments at runtime. It works by prompting the user for various commands, acting on those commands, spitting out an output, and then prompting for more commands.

i have such a question.
I have a cobol program which is calling a C program and in that C program
i get a core dump:(. I want to investigate what is the issue using WDB debuger, but a dont see the code from COBOL program in the debuger, when i run the debugger with the exe!!!
