How to transfer files...

Hi guys, ok so, how do you go about networking between Windows and Linux so that I can transfer files between each other?

If you have sshd running on the Linux node, you can use WinSCP from the Windows node to transfer files to/from the Linux node.

you can use ftp, which is insecure.
you can use a sftp client.
you can set up a CIFS/SMB share

If you have Firefox installed on your Windows box, another useful way is to install the FireSSH and FireFTP add-ons. This gives you a good drag and drop GUI interface. Only limit that I have come across in FireFTP is a 2Gb file size limit.
