I need to install "certutil" on my Linux machine. Can someone please let me know where can I get its installable/package.

I can't see why you need to do this. certutil is a utility that makes certificates on Solaris servers. Many Linux servers have ssl or openssl installed on them and they perform the same function.

I ran into this a work when I was building a test server, so we can move from NIS to LDAP. Are you doing something simular? I have never seen Oracle/Sun documentation that used certutil for anything else other then LDAP. A web server maybe?

I need it to create new certificates, we generally use certutil only. We have got it installed on some of our Linux Test servers, but not on the one I was working on. Fortunately, I got the installable from one of my Colleagues and installed it.

Hi,
I need to install certutil specifically. Plateform is solaris. Certutil Tool is part of NSS project by Mozilla.
1.Do i have to install whole NSS package to be able to execute the "certutil" command?
2. I have got the certutil.c source on the net ... how do i install the certutil??

I have never installed certutil. It is installed with the OS.
