I am learning linux now ,and a new memeber of linux ,hoping to know it more .

If I were you, I would go with Red Hat Linux. It is pretty easy to set up and install. You will be able to figure out much just by playing around with it.

Hammer & Screwdriver

I would also recommend Mandrake which is even easier for Linux beginners (my opinion). It is easy to install and easy to work with.

Try older distros, that will force you to know what you are doing Smilie
