installation proccedure regd Teacup helpdesk software

Hey All

I have been asked to install Teacup - Helpdesk report management system .Iam trying to insall this software on Redhat 9, iam not that good in linux but i have been asked to instal this software so need ur help regarding this . i have installed redhat 9 .

1) First thing what services and software should run to run this TEACUP
HELPDESK SOFTWARE and how to check that all the required software and the services r running fine.

2) As per techguide


Add a user for the web server to /etc/passwd.
Add a group for the web server to /etc/group.
(how to do this can i add a user & groups from user & group add or something
else i have to do)


Edit /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf. Find the User and Group directives. Change
the user and group named from nobody to the user and group you just created.

how to do this

createuser httpd
createuser mail
when i do this i get user not able to add can some one plss help me out on
this issue and tell me how to configure further steps need ur valuable help

Plsss help me out as soon as possible its very critical for meee

install-solaris - install the Solaris operating system SYNOPSIS
install-solaris install-solaris invokes the Solaris Install program. Depending on graphical capability and available memory at the time of invocation, install-solaris invokes either a text-based installer or a graphical installer. The following minimum requirements for physical memory dictate which features are available during installation: For SPARC machines: 128 MB Minimum physical memory for all installation types 128 MB Minimum physical memory required for windowing system 384 MB Minimum physical memory required for graphical-based installation For x86 machines: 256 MB Minimum physical memory for all installation types 256 MB Minimum physical memory required for windowing system 512 MB Minimum physical memory required for graphical-based installation In some cases, even if the minimum physical memory is present, available virtual memory after system startup can limit the number of fea- tures available. install-solaris exists only on the Solaris installation media (CD or DVD) and should be invoked only from there.
