Computer HELP! my drive is now ruined by Linux.

I had my Windows and my precious files in the other drive partition. I used Drive Partition for installing Linux in its new drive. But why Linux did not detect this drive when I boot from CD-ROM?

My DOS and Windows drive is not anymore detected in my system after I cancelled Linux from installing.

ooooh, that was a no no. You shouldnt have cancelled the installation.

I dont know how to use drive partition but when you partition a drive you are asked two ways to prep the partition :

1) Partition the drive and leave it unbootable until the new Operationg System is installed.
2) Or Partition the drive and leave it bootable with the new Partition space.

TRy reinstalling Linux. Your Windows/MSDOS files might still be on the harddrive. If that doesnt work go and download some "partition recovery" software. Try Google or www.download.com. I hope this works.
