Viewing HTML file in network

Hi,

I am new to Linux. I have indexnew.html file in /var/www/html. I have to view this file in the browser within the network and without using Apache server. Because, my Apache server gets the request to my application. I used http://localhost/indexnew.html to open the file, but it gets to my application.

Thank you

NFS mount the volume that holds the HTML file to your machine that has the browser on it and then pointer the browser at the file, e.g.:
Code:
file:///nfsmountpoint/subdirectory/file.htm

NFS is quite easy to but a detailed document on how to NFS share at the html file end and how to NFS mount is at:
Linux NFS-HOWTO
