I would also like to take this opportunity to correct some misinformation about (ISC)˛'s granting a “provisional” Associate of (ISC)˛ status. Such a “provisional” status does not exist. The Associate status is reserved for those who pass the exam and are working toward the experience requirement needed to become a CISSP.
