Question Changing the mask

What is the command to change the mask to 255.255.255.0

The system was set up incorectly and the mask needs to be corrected

In your first thread about changing the ip address, several people asked you which OS. This is because the details vary from OS to OS. The same thing applies here. We need to know specificly which version of unix you are running. You never replied to the first thread. I can only hope that you will tell us your OS in this thread.
