How to connect to unix server from desktop using internet explorer...like what i use to do using telnet and the ip address ..will it be possible to connect unix server through IE.

IE or Internet Explorer is a browser. The use is to browse net not for browse OS. You may try using wine or samba instead for the connection to a Unix system.

Hi desican,
if you want to use the UNIX machine in a MS-network like an MS-machine you schould use samba or wine.

If you want to administrate the server from different places (with IE) try Webmin.
