Error unix and xp working together??
Unix and windows XP on a IBM rs6000 server.
I can't approche the server from the pc with XP.
Can somebody tell me something about this problem?Smilie

Huh?

You can't put Windows on an IBM rs6000 server... Windows does not support that architecture. Besides, why take a perfectly good server and place a desktop OS on it?

hello there LivinFree,

I didn't make myself very clear. Well that's because my english isn't that good. So i shall try to explain it al little more.

i use a IBM rs6000 Unix-server. We are working in a FACETWIN enviroment. From a PC with windows XP as OS we cannot logon on the server. Windows gives the following message: "the account cannot may not connect to the server".
I think its an authorisation problem.

Mayby this will clear up a little.

Depending on what features you are using of FacetWin's, that very well may be the case. I don't have experience with FacetWin, but that's the first thing I would check.

xclock not working in HP-Unix 11.23
