Mbps, base10 or base2?

When converting from bps to Mbps, do you use base2 (N * 2^20) or base10 (N * 1000000)?

Thanks

As far I know, in this case, it refers to base10 (10 Mbps = 10 million-bits-per-second)

This says: Mbps (Megabit per second) One Mbps corresponds to a data rate of 1,000,000 bits per second.

This says: Mbps Abbreviation for a data transmission speed of megabits per second, usually considered to be 1,048,576 bits/second.
