Netstat issue

Hi all

When I run netstat, it just hangs there and after a while comes back. I cannot figure out why as the server is functioninng well.

can u please make sure that all your interfaces are up ...
including the loop back interface and let us know the status

have you tried 'netstat -an' ?
Code:
     -n    Show network addresses and ports as numbers.  Normally netstat
           attempts to resolve addresses and ports, and display them symboli-
           cally.

.. maybe is a DNS resolution problem

netstat -i

any someone can help me.., for explain what mean of "Ierrs" and how show the error cause ?
