Question Route deleted

I am running SCOUnix OpenServer 5.0.5. For some reason a route in my routing table is being deleted and I do not know why. As far as I can see, it is nothing obvious that is deleting the route. The rest of the table is fine, only one particular entry is being delete. I run S99routes to reestablish it, but it will go away again.

Can anybody give me an idea on why this is happening or send me tool that can trace down the problem? I would greatly appreciate the help.

You'll not get a lot of help on SCO these days since SCO's management is making lot's of people miserable.

Personally, I'm saddened by the events of late with regard to SCO, Unix. Linux, and open source.

I disagree with that comment.

While that may be true, the only reason he may not get a lot of help/answer is because
1. We don't have a real expert on SCO OS that regularly/ever signs in
2. There is nothing on the web about this type of problem.
(I know, I looked)

Since I was hoping someone else might be able to assist, I didn't bother to post what little I did find.

If you could, walkerd810, please post answers to the following:
Are you running router daemon?
Can you post the output from netstat -nr?
How many interfaces do you have on the system?
Are there any error messages in your logs in relation to the interface(s) or the route?

You may find an indirect answer to your situation on PCUNIX.com - SCO
or at SCO Knowledge base - there are some entries in both that may or may not be close to what you are seeing.

Agreed. What I should have said was:

I know that **I'm** not very excited about SCO because of this.

You are right, I can't speak for others. Thanks for pointing this out. Neo
