Configuring LAN to be able to boot from it.

Hi,
I have an IA machine on which I want to install the HP 11.31 from LAN.
I have the lan card and ignite server available.
How do I need to configure the LAN card to be able to boot from it and install the OS?

Thanks in advance
Pritam

Assuming you didn't already find and download the Ignite administration manual...here is the link where you can get it. Just look on the left side where it says "complete book in pdf".

Ignite-UX Administration Guide: for HP-UX 11i

I strongly recommend you reference it as there are a lot of things that can go wrong...

As for booting to the lan card...log into the MP...restart the server...interrupt the boot process...and in the MP under console force the server to use one of the lan cards in the list as the boot device. It will attempt to gain a dhcp ip address...as long as your ignite server is on the same subnet and looking for clients...you should be able to connect...again the Ignite manual has the needed information.
