Access AS400 from HP (RISC) Unix OS
Hi everyone,

I am in the need of some software which will allow me to access IBM AS400 from HP unix operating system.

I could download the software from IBM site for windows OS and it is working succesfully. I need to do the same on UNIX OS.

Could you please guide me to some site where I could get the requred software that will allow me to access AS400 from UNIX OS.

You want an NFS exported from the AS400, I assume. There is a native one for AS400 -
IBM Redbooks | Exploring NFS on AS/400

This seems to be pretty complete.

However if you are already exporting NFS to the windows boxes, then you just need to set up an NFS client on the HPUX box.
There is an HPUX nfs man page.
