HP-UX backspae not working
I am using hp-unix 11.11. i am a new user with hp-ux. can someone guide me how to configure shell coz i am not able to do tab, backspace, copy files names with mouse click as we can do in linux.

Are you using the desktop environment for HP-UX? Or are you connecting to the server via a telnet or ssh session? If it is the latter, then you will have to look up some documentation for your telnet/ssh client that will tell you how to configure the client. In the first case, the desktop env. will be different than that of linux, so you'll just have to adjust to the new env.

HP-Unix Backspace not working
I am logging to server via ssh and there i am not able to use backspace key.

I`m using putty to connect to the server via ssh. To use backspace key, i do next step:

Change settings --> Terminal --> Keyboard --> The Backspace Key --> Control-H


How to use tab i don`t know.
i think it`s shell problem.

HP-Unix Backspace not working
If the backspace is not working or sometime when you type the backspace you will get the following symbol ^?^?^?.

To resolve this issue , you can type the following command.

stty erase ^? where ^? is the backspace.

If this work then copy the above command into your profile and restrt the profile using the command below

. .profile

Let me know if that work

Secure Unsecure contents
I am getting Error message " Both secure unsecure contents on same page" pop up coming when i am opening webpage.

SSH: internal working but external not working
