network information

Hello Guys!

I am new from unix and I have a litle knowledge to some of the commands.
my query is how can I view the network configuration of the station like
the IP address, the NIS name , DNS etc.
in windows we can get this info with the command ifconfig /all

Hi

in the windows the correct command is ipconfig/all not ifconfig

in HP-UX you can use

lanscan
netstat -rn
ifconfig
nslookup

commands and you can view

/etc/hosts
/etc/resolv.conf
/etc/rc.config.d/netconf
files

Best Regards
