Question Trying to install codependent patches

I am trying to install patches PHKL_33463 & PHKL_33049. Each patch requires the other one. I have downloaded both of them as separate (tape) depot files. I'm assuming I can load them successfully if I can put them into the same depot file, BUT how do I do that?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have never heard of codependent patches. That's crazy. Let me see here...
PHKL_33049 requires: PHKL_31500 PHKL_33463
PHKL_33463 requires: PHKL_31500 PHKL_33049

The procedure to consolidate patches is in this thread. If that doesn't work for you, try adding this option to swinstall:
-x enforce_dependencies=false

Good Luck. Let us know how it goes.

You should do a man on swcopy command.

The swcopy command copies or merges software_selections from a software source to one or more software depot target_selections.
These depots can then be accessed as a software source by the swinstall command.
