MySQL root password in hpux 10.01 on apollo 715/50

Hi, I'm from Venezuela and my English is not so good, please be patient. I got a problem with the machine described above, I tried to to enter in "the apollo" my teacher asked me to do it, because it's a part of an asignment but nobody knows any count to work with it. First my teacher told me to install GNU/Linux on it, but it doesn't have any external boot device Smilie and I don't know how to boot from the net... I followed the instructions that explain how to access ISL> but when I type hpux -is <return> the machine just reboots and shows me the ISL> prompt again. Do you have any idea about what is hapening? or how can I install GNU/Linux on it from the network?

Do you have a cdrom attached to the machine? If so, then you can modify the bootpath at the ISL itself. You can do this:

primpath <hardware path of the device>

The hardware path of a device is a slash and dot seperated series of numbers.

Set this to the path of the cdrom, insert the linux cd in there and you are on your way.
