I can't find this "ntsysv" command in my servers even as an installable option, maybe it's specific to your particular Linux distro? Hard to find something similar until we know what you have.

ntsysv == chkconfig in linux, scm is a common one for hpux

ps -ef shows processes

The nearest match in HP-UX is "glance" (pay software from HP).
