oracle session is not terminated on HP-UX

In our HP-UX B.11.11 U 9000/800 PA-RISC 64bits server, the oracle session is not terminated using JDBC after closing the session, we close the java.sql.Statement java.sql.Result and java.sql.Connection on app.
In others servers (GNU/Linux debian), the sessions are ending without problems, using the same app.
I suspect is the HP-UX OS, maybe is a parameter of the kernel.

The apps are on Tomcat 5.5 and the JVM is 1.5.0.12-_21_mar_2008_11_52.
The database run in HP-UX itanium B.11.23 U ia64 and the database is Oracle Release 10.2.0.4.0

Any ideas? Smilie
Thank you!

We may need more information to understand your issue, for instance you say your oracle session in on HPUX11.11 PA-RISC then your last line says "he database run in HP-UX itanium B.11.23 U ia64 and the database is Oracle Release 10.2.0.4.0"
then there are other servers...
Describing a bit more your architecture does help you know... ( I suspect some ndd tuning is necessary...)
