A simple question about nfs and jumpstart
,i setup server (all on linux)
tftp ok # boot and reach menu grub,and start
nfs not ok
i did
/export/solaris 192.168.0.0/24(ro,no_root_squash,anonuid=0,anongid=0)
and on solaris i put config with sysidcfg,profile,etc

I have a problem with NFS sharing on solaris 10, the problem simply with write permission, after do the following command, the folder still not writable from machine 2 :
on machine 1 (10.10.10.32) :
share -F nfs -o rw /u01/portalrepository/
on machine 2 (10.10.10.31) :

I am trying something. I wrote a simple shell program to test something where continuous while loop writes on a file over the nfs. Hi, I facing an NFS problem. I have machine1, which has diskA and diskB, and machine2, both are Mandriva 2009 Linux.
When I am on machine2 and NFS mount both diskA and diskB of machine1. Writing to diskA is very fast, but writing to diskB is very slow. I tried different mount rsize and wsize... (2 Replies)

I'm writing a Linux binary that requires an X11 Server. It will also be released in a Shell, Win32, and Cocoa (Mac OS X).
It's a program that's a text editor and more. It not just creates TXT and RTF files, it also can save in XML, RSS, and a whole lot of other formats.
