Solved -- Problems with NIS Password Expiration...
HI. I was wondering if anyone can assist me in this. I have an HP-UX 11.31 server at work which keeps expiring my NIS password. I cannot log in unless I use root access. It worked before and I think some of the settings changed since then. My boss has told me that since we're taking some servers offline, my login will no longer be there.

Now I'm thinking that my NIS info was served from one of these old servers. How can I transfer or lock in my current NIS login and password info to our current server which serves everyones information.

Any help would be appreciated!

Solved. NIS slave (/etc/rc.config.d/namesvrs file wasn't updated so it wasn't pointing to anything. Copied the file from another slave and all was well...
