nfs option in hp-ux
Hi,

i am trying to mount nfs from hpux(11i) to solaris(9), i am able to mount but write permission is no there.

Kindly need your help.

I have gone through below mentioned sites.

What is in your /etc/exports?
Is your HP-UX box in your solaris /etc/hosts file?

It can very well be rw mounted and still you are unable to write:
What are the perms ? Do they match with your solaris UID/GID ? (You may very well be effectivally treated as "others" with only read access...).
Read-Write will only be effective if exported as RW - AND - you match with the permissions, SOLARIS side... (Same UID-GID...)

Solaris 9 as a nfs client -- centos as a nfs server.

Hello, I have a centos as nfs server, its name is centos_A. After I finish the setup of the nfs server, the other linux can access this nfs server immediately via /net/centos_A/* But, My solaris 9 can not access /net/centos_A/* immediately.
