abnormal process HPUX

i am using HP-UX and i have this process called HPUX childwrapper taking about 99% cpu.i want to know what the process does? and if i should kill it

It is a process in the java runtime environment. What HPUX/platform version are you?

usually found as /opt/...../jre/bin/HPUXChildWrapper

Try restarting java. If the problem persists you may have to go to another release level of the jre.
