partition not bootable
Hi,

I have Debian and Win2k on a 60GB Harddisk. After the debian installation i try to install Boot-Us bootmanager under windows.

But it shows up as following:

primary Win2k 4996mb bootable
extended 35479mb
log. Win2k 35000mb bootable
log. Linux-Swap 478mb bootable
primary Linux native 9538mb

this is rather confusing, becaues the 2 logical devices are bootable, what they should not be. And the linux native boot partition is _not_ bootable.
What did i do wrong, i marked that partition as bootable at the debian installation.

harddrive is seagate barracuda ST320020A, but i guess it has nothing to do with that.
I already had an installation of a bootmanager on that harddisk when i had FreeBSD and win2k same time, and it worked. Could it be that there is still something on the MBR of this previous installation?

It would appear you selected the Linux swap partition for booting and not the Linux native partition!
