Backup solutions

Hi guys,

We are looking to replace our current backup solution - we currently backup our Progress databases (on SCO Unixware7) to DLT7000 tapes but that being old technology the failure rate is increasing and we need to replace them with a more reliable solution. We've been looking at SDLT drives/tapes and possibly a NAS server but we are unsure on the compatibility because SCO Unix 7 is now so old, as well as the server being old. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

veritas

We recently bought Veritas ver 10D with UNIX agents to back up our NAS, still waiting on it to arrive with Dell powervault tape loaders. Will let you know how it works out if interested.
