How to connect to a Network disk using SAMBA

Hi,

I have a network disk that runs windows xp embedded. It doesnt support NFS.
But Samba is supported.

How do i connect to it through solaris 9. What are the steps required.

I have the IP address of the drive.

Thanks

In this scenario you'll only have the ftp-like smbclient unless you look into a 3rd part application shuch as Sharity, or if you have free harware to do so, smbmount it on linus and share it using NFS. There is currently no native way to mount a CIFS/SMB share in Solaris.
