auto quotas?

auto quotas?
Heres a stupid question to all you Linux gods/goddesses.

Is there any way to have the system automatically set user quotas when a user account is created or does it have to be done by hand or a script. Every article, thread, anything Ive read so far only shows how to set quotas manually. Any insight would be helpful. Im running FC4 btw.

Ok, so far Ive not found any way to have the system to create quotas. Instead I was thinking of creating an empty account (locked) with quotas set for a filesystem so I could use edquota -p. Does anyone see a problem with having this extra account lying around or should I just go the scripting route? Also if this account is locked, does it neccesarily need a home directory. Im asking first instead of trying because it takes me around 3 hours to reload my system. Thanks in advance.

MySQL Server Export Quota
usually you would set a quota limit for CIFS/NFS in your gui when setting up.
a server export for a speciffic users file system.

What type of data mover are you using?

Its just a single system Im working with (no servers or data movers). I ended up just using the setquota command in one of my adduser scripts.

disk quotas in UNIX?

RedHat 7.0 Caldera 2.4 From Windows 2000 server, you can allow ceratin users to use only so much disk space when they login.
