Java ISS screws up.

Seems that security company ISS who brought us products such as BlackICE defender, released to the public, information concerning a vulnerability in apache that effects all versions on all platforms before telling the developers at Apache about it. This forced the people at Apache to work quickly to get a fix out, before many large systems could be compromised. Of course ISS had a patch for the vulnerability out when they made the announcement, however the patch only was for windows versions of Apache, and according to a few of my friends, it did not even work. Read more about this here.
