Template for Disaster Recovery

Hello,

I am trying to make a disaster recovery of my Unix System.

Is there a site where I can find template from Disaster Recovery Domain. So this can help me to have the principals chapter to make a good report.

Hi,

We use :

/usr/bin/echo " =====> - Start make_tape_recovery: "`/usr/bin/date`

/opt/ignite/bin/make_tape_recovery -AIv 2>&1

/usr/bin/echo " =====> - Einde make_tape_recovery: "`/usr/bin/date`


For making a bootable dds tape as recovery. This will only create a bootable tape of vg00, afterwards you have to restore other vg if applicable.
In case of a disaster :

- Put tape in slot
- turn on system
- bo tape
- Ignite will now show you the possibilities to perform an exact restore. You should try this at least once !! But make sure you have it documented well and a possebility to go back.

It's very easy and works very good.

So I have certainnely not good ask my question.

I want just to know where I can find template for examples of a Disaster Recovery to make a Report of our System if we have a Disaster.

So we have backups of our vg.

I don't know a site. I think we do the same.
Gather info for disaster recovery moments. Some dutch words are still in there, but it should be a template, right Smilie
