Hello,

In my server ihave a problem with some installed packages ...

Code:
[myserver]/root#lslpp -l | grep LGTO
  LGTOnw.clnt.rte            7.4.2.0  COMMITTED  NetWorker Client
lslpp: Error while processing fileset 9f827e6ef6ec223edb338bc4c37632ae.

[myserver]/#odmget -q lpp_name=9f827e6ef6ec223edb338bc4c37632ae product

product:
        lpp_name = "9f827e6ef6ec223edb338bc4c37632ae"
        comp_id = ""
        update = 0
        cp_flag = 131345
        fesn = ""
        name = "3af57c2932b3767b10066f7e4d0dd8c9"
        state = 5

        ptf = ""
        media = 0
        sceded_by = ""
        fixinfo = ""
        prereq = ""
        description = "ISMP installed entry"
        supersedes = ""

there is nothing in the odm about it ...

Does anyone knows something about it ?

How could i fix this anomaly ? (if it is an anomaly)

How could i get the real product name ?

Note, i'm in AIX 5.2

Thanks

if it is newly installed

Have you installed those networker filesets newly. If so, try removing those completely and re-install.

Try with lppchk -v
if it returns some name Or if you know the other fileset names along with the Network fileset. Then try giving the command to re-install and commit. Copy the filesets install files in some /x/y named Networker 1.2.3

installp -acgN -d /x/y Networker.

This will somehow apply commit the fileset in the directory /x/y. This has worked for me twice.

Cheers
