AIX

Hello I am newbie user and have got a Server (RS / 6000 H70). The vendor don't gave me the root password and the ip number, I can't enter en service mode. I pressed the button 5,1,6 in the terminal ASCII, but it does't responded. I use minicom with the specification on the manual documentation of the server. And if I try to wait the screen still here ------>

How do to enter en service mode?
Does I need to buy a video card?
Really I very surprise about this problem, I suspect that enter in console mode was to easy... But I stopped here now!! What kind of problem does I have? Does am I so stupid ?It don't be should a great problem but now is a snowball that will crush my mind!!
