sar or glace quivalent command in AIX?

I'm new to the AIX environment, and I need to check the system state at certain interval (10 minutes) to see when it's saturated to take an appropriate actions.
Any help is appreciated.

You can use sar of course, it is there and working as expected.

Another tool is NMON, which has to be installed, but is freeware and can be downloaded from the IBM website. It can be used as a monitoring tool directly (has some ASCII-graphical interface) or in daemon-mode, gathering data over extended periods. There is a "nmon analyzer" with which to analyze the gathered data.
