Power turn on aix history command

how do i turn on aix43 history command? so that i could recall the command with <esc>+k.

You cant...

with ksh and .sh_history
the aix equivalent is <Esc> + <backslash> (On my keyboard that is [altGr]+<\>)

Or do you need
set -o vi
?

add set -o vi to your .profile or .kshrc
