LED Code
Anyone know what led code 626 means please. This is on a VIO server running vios 1.3.0.1-FP-8.1 and AIX 5.3 ML5.

626 - OEM FC SCSI Disk being configured.

The codes are called "three digit codes" in IBMs newspeak. Google for "three digit code AIX" and you find an abundance of links.

Google was my first port of call but could not find any reference to the code 0626 or 626.

And click on "AIX Message Center" on the left hand side. There's a link for LED codes which takes you to a big .pdf file with lots of info.

It should be in this book on page 196:

but they seem to have missed it out.

Attention Led on HMC

We use HMC to manage two logical partitions. LPARs don't have any problem but HMC's, itself, attention led is on. :eek: I am not sure if that's going to affect LPARs, but just wanted to be sure.... :confused: Has anyone come across such problem on HMC?
