AIX

hello, we are implementing ip security on several of our aix 5.2-09 boxes and i am unable to locate the prerequisite file sets. does anyone know where i can find these? i have the original 5.2 cd's but these file sets are not on any of the cd's. Any thoughts or suggestions?

You should be able to download them from IBM website, if you don;t have a corresponding CDs. Btw, unless you tell us the filesets it will be hard for us to guess.

I can install the updated versions of the file sets from the ibm web site but am unable to find the base level install file sets. I have the 5.2 cd's and they are not included on those cd's. The file sets needed are below. Thanks again.

bos.net.ipsec.rte, bos.msg.LANG.net.ipsec, bos.net.ipsec.keymgt, bos.net.ipsec.websm, bos.crypto-priv

Try to find another media from Aix 5.2 because the only way to get those fileset its on the original media.

I have a similar problem on Aix 5.3 and I search on one media and I can´t find them. but I look in another media and I find it.

Thats why I told you that you look in another media. Because on the web site of IBM you wouldnt find it.
