Hello Everybody, we have a
System Model: IBM,7017-S7A running AIX 4.3

L2Cache0 FRU: 5312 U1.1-P1-C1

815-201: Processor has a status of failed.

Are there any other detailed diagnostics that i can run (or) should i place an IBM call ? pls advice
Thanks!

Pretty conclusive but you could try running diag and test the planar however I think the result will still be Proc 0 has gone. Call AIX I am afraid.

If you want something else, you can look at the error logs in the ASMI.

ASMI, on a 7017, you're having a laugh.
The service processor logs might show some thing but it will be the same as the diags show.
With these errors the processor is taken off line, so can't be tested, so your diag results are from analysing the errpt, and the errpt is generated from the service processor error, so they will show the same thing.
Call IBM, the processor card (262 MHz, type 1, located in the front of the CEC) needs to be replaced.
