The reason for using the RPM package was to install a already compiled (working) version of dmalloc and NOT to have to install a self-compiled version (configure + make + make install) Smilie

Now you have dmalloc installed twice!

I would recommend to remove (deinstall) your self-compiled version.

It should be easier to manage (update, remove, etc.) your Open-source software like dmalloc with the RPM Package Manager.

Thank's a lot, I've just understood the utility of RPM package ...
I will remove the self-compiled version
