Actually. I was getting a ping to remote host failed for one of my etherchannel. When I checked it was in backup adapter and again I use to faileover and brought to primary channel.
But it was again going to backup channel and giving me the alert ping to remotehost failed. When I checked the load avrage it was bit high as
load average: 11.65, 13.12, 12.10

Kindly let me know how to solve this?

Sounds like two different problems.

For load problems, have a look into nmon interactively to see which process is currently having a high CPU percentage.

For the network problem, go step by step and check if the host can reach it's gateway 1st, if not, check if another host in the same network can, and so on.

Is that a VIO server? or a LPAR?

How did you configure etherchannel.

Reading your post give me a hint that those are VIOS, check to see if you are running on other VIO, on which the trunking priority is higher.

Provide us more details to help.

Seems like one "leg" of the etherchannel can ping the remote host and the other can't. This might be a router/switch problem. Post the configuration (like ibmtech asked) to make sure the problem is not on your side, but my suspicion is you should have a talk with the networkers.
