Hi Guys,
The management is being frisky about scan rate in the range of a few thousands ( 4 digit scan rates occasionally). After much research ive concluded that its ok to have high scan rates , unless it leads to swapping/ it falls above 1:4 ratio with free rate (fr:sr)

I used to use MRTG monitor Redhat, CentOS.
But, i found that. I can't snmpwalk to my AIX 6.1
I want to know, how can I snmpwalk my AIX 6.1's
CPU usage, Memory usage, New TCP connection, EST. TCP connection
and the Harddisk Size....etc.

I would like to create a script that will monitor the server if it's heavy on the processing. I have already some scripts for monitoring disk capacity, application monitoring, etc but not on the bottleneck of the server processing.

I am looking for a way to issue a command or string of commands to repeatedly display new files that are written to the directory. I am using fc3, and I would like to know how to increase monitor refresh rate.
I have tried "Applications" > "Preferences" > "Screen Resolution" but I can't seem to increase greater than 85Hz.
