AIX

Well i am right now working on an IBM P550 risc server with an HMC connected.. The server has 2 logical partitions (Lpar). both lpar is having Aix 5.3 installed.

Now I have a doubt.. is it possible to have Aix in one lpar and windows 2003 in another..

you can have linux on the second system not Windows

I have heard of virtual servers where u have multiple OS on the same server..
Then howz that done????

On a P550 you can have Linux and AIX on the same server But Windows will only run on
Intel based CPU. if you need windows2003 run that on a pc

The other things you may want to look in to is Blade center

You can get moddels to run windows servers and linux servers in the same blade center. You can also run Aix on the other blade centers *RS
