Question User Auditing

i want to audit user commands ..
keep track of what commands each user has been giving ..
can this be done by writing a script in engraving it in .profile of the user.

or is there any other way of doing this ...

Hi,

you may take a look at this program, look like it's doing what you want to do. I wasn't able to compile, maybe you will have more luck then me.

Just an idea: regularily cycle through the home directories and take snapshots of the command history files.
