I want to obtain memory consumption history on a HPUX machine.
I know I can access data from the last week with sar
sar -f /var/adm/sa/sa14
I do not know how to get memory usage with sar.
Are there any other ways?

Hi,
Can some one please tell me how do I generate a report of the Memory Consumption over a time period:
HP-UX B.11.31 U ia64 0440531406 unlimited-user license
I normally use glance to monitor memory in run time.
Note: I do not have root privileges.

On our AIX 6.1 server there are two instance of Oracle, a Websphear, a Java application and informatica are running. Can I find out how much memory each of these are consuming?

Hi,
I have a problem with memory on AIX 5.3. On this server, we have JDE Edwards (ERP) and Oracle Database (9.2.0.7.0).
We have 4 Gb for physical memory and 3 Gb for paging space.
When I stop all services (JDE, Oracle and all other services), the physical memory is not free (4 Gb)

print_manifest : gave me the information of the system configuration
and came to know that we have 8GB of ram.
But on runtime I want to know what is the memory left.

DESCRIPTION
This module provides a class whose objects can be used to keep track of threads of discussion in a Usenet newsgroup.
CONSTRUCTOR
new ( ARTICLE )
"ARTICLE" should be a "News::Scan::Article" object or an object of some class derived from "News::Scan::Article".
"new" performs some initialization and returns a "News::Scan::Thread".
METHODS
subject
Returns this thread's subject.
volume
Returns the volume in bytes generated in this thread.
articles
Returns the number of posts to this thread.
header_volume
Returns the volume in bytes of the headers in this thread's articles.
header_lines
Returns the number of header lines in this thread's articles.
body_volume
Returns the volume in bytes of the message bodies of this thread's articles.
