AIX

I need to install "bos.adt.debug" in AIX ( version 6100-06-05-1115). I found the right bff U818918 and I smitty to install it and encountered the "missing requisites" error as attached in which missing the "base level fileset" bos.adt.debug 6.1.0.0. And I couldn't find this fileset from the Internet for long.

Do any one able to provide me this base level fileset or anywhere I can download it.

Appreciate so much if someone could offer help...

Same as your other thread - you should check the base installation medias. You can't usually download the base levels for free on the net, only the updates.

Alternatively, the AIX 6.1 TL6 base package should be available to download from IBM (if you have it listed in your entitled software section).

However, you should download these and save them, as it appears that when these products go end-of-life, so does the ability to download them from your ibm account.

use your base install media... if you have a nim server load the filesets onto your target host and go to the install directory.... you can also use the cd if you don't have access to nim... use

smitty install_all

and select the software you need to install in your case

Also to add... be sure to run a test first.... make sure it's working correctly.
