Hello,
I'm trying to understand what is the practical usage of this command. In IBM website I've found that:

Reorganizes the physical partition allocation for a volume group.

In which situation should I use it? Could you give me some example.

well - on databases for example you have usually best performance distributing your filesystems or raw devices across as many disks as possible. If you add a bunch of disks you still want them to be distributed across as much disks as possible - just across more disks in that case - and than you reorg the VG so the system will redistribute your filesystems or raws.
