max drive size for 7028 p Series

We have an eight year old IBM P series 7028 model server running AIX 5.2, and are thinking about installing some bigger drives. The current ones are 78GB in a RAID5 array. It looks like there are 146 and 300GB drives available. Just wondering what a realistic size drive to install would be that wouldn't hammer the system.

36.4 GB Ultra3 10K RPM (#3158)
73.4 GB Ultra3 10K RPM (#3159)
36.4 GB Ultra3 15K RPM (#3277)
146.8 GB Ultra3 10K RPM (#3275)

Zxmaus, thanks for you reply. I guess what I'm asking is would you think there'd be any performance issues upgrading to the 146GB? I am not that familiar with capabilities of Unix systems.

Hi, again.
Given the above - if your 73G drives are 15k and you go to 146G, 10k, drives - then if, and only if, you are hammering the drives, you may have a performance hit due to the slower drives.
