connections on server

I am using AIX 5.3, its a application server, i am giving the support of OS & Hardware only, now i want to check how many connections are connected to my server, means how many people using my server.Smilie

It depends what you mean by "connections". Direct connections (i.e. logins, ssh, etc.) with w or who. Connections through your "application" is likely a different matter.

My means of connection is suppose 100 people are using application running on server, so how can i check these 100 connections.

If the application has an interface itself that might provide that. Check the manual of that application. Maybe the application has a log file it writes where you can see (or turn on) any connections being made to it.
If you know the ports running of that application, you could check with something like:

netstat -a

and grep the port(s) of that application.
