For your code B159A070 Google shows:
IBM InfoCenter

Google also shows:
IBM InfoCenter
which points to:
Quote:
B159A070 Indicates that the Panel is being deactivated
and this leads to a check if a service action is needed:

B159A070 Indicates that the Panel is being deactivated

I am not sure what further thing I could check, to see what the real problem is ??

I am to sure if it has to do with firmware SF240_415_328..

I upgraded it from SF235_096.

If I am not wrong you should have 2 firmware versions available.
One which is currently active after the update and another one as backup which is, when the new one is not comitted yet, still having the old version. I remember from HMC that there is several options when upgrading LIC (Licensed Internal Code, ie. firmware), that you can overwrite the new firmware with the old version; maybe it is more like a restore.
What the reason really is, I can't tell. Did you get it via IBM Fix Central using all the dropdowns etc.?

firmware on p520

have no HMC connected to the unit, already promote the installed new fw to be the new one, lsmcode -c shows both SF240_415
Code:
# lsmcode -c
The current permanent system firmware image is SF240_415
The current temporary system firmware image is SF240_415
The system is currently booted from the temporary firmware image.

That might have been no good idea. If you can work and don't want to just ignore that error, maybe open up a call at IBM, if you still get/have support for this type.

You could just use the diag command to disable the attention indicator, and i it comes back then open a support call.
